Sand and Gravels

Concrete sand (sharp sand) – as well as brown and yellow building sand.

Single Sizes – which are used for drainage backfill. The size of the gravel used is dependent on the size of the drainage pipe being used and the application.

Pipe sizes at a house building project typically use 10mm or 20mm gravel, while backfilling a filed drainage pipe is often done with 20mm or 40mm river gravel.

Large quantities of these single sizes are used as the base material for concrete, typically from a ready-mix plant and the production of tar in all its different specifications from a tar coating plant.
